Martin Munyu - IKM Partner

Martin Munyu graduated from the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Law in 1993 and proceeded to the Kenya School of Law in 1994 where he obtained a Diploma after passing the Council of Legal Education Examinations.

He was admitted to the Roll of Advocates on 11th January, 1996.  He joined our Litigation Department in the first quarter of 2001.  He had previously worked with Macharia Njeru Advocates for Five (5) years where he was mainly handling insurance matters; acting for various insurance companies; commercial litigation; and acting on behalf of financial institutions.

Immediately before joining IKM he worked as Senior Legal Officer with Credit Reference Bureau Limited where he specialised in debt-collection work.

As a litigation advocate since his admission to the bar, Martin is a specialist in insurance matters, commercial litigation and debt-recovery.  Martin joined the Partnership in 2004 and continues to serve in our Litigation Department.
