Conveyancing And Securities Department

This Department deals with all aspects of conveyancing and bank securities including transfer of land, leases, charges, mortgages, sub-divisions, changes of user, conveyances, re-conveyances, discharge of charges, caveats, cautions, easements, extension of Government Leases, Licenses, Powers of Attorney, prohibitions, Rectification of Titles, Rights of Access, Sale of Land, Sub-divisions, Trusts relating to Land, Wills, applying for and obtaining the various consents required under the law, paying land rent and rates on behalf of clients drafting template security documents, advising clients on changes in land laws and new Land Office procedures as well as advising clients generally on all aspects of land law.

The Department is manned by 2 Partners, namely James Kamau and Anne Kinyanjui (who is the Partner in charge), assisted by the various Associates in the Department.
