Byron Mutali is an Associate in the Conveyancing and Bank Securities practice at IKM.

Byron began his legal training while still in campus when he was attached as a volunteer with an international NGO advocating for the rights of children. He later joined the firm of Macharia-Mwangi & Njeru Advocates as an Intern and later as a Pupil, where he was instructed in the practice of an Advocate.

Career

Byon launched his career as an Associate in the Commercial and Conveyancing Department at the Firm of Macharia-Mwangi & Njeru Advocates. In January 2015, he joined IKM as an Associate in the firm’s Conveyancing and Bank Securities practice.

  • Acted for various corporate and individual clients in conveyancing transactions. He has represented parties in the sale and purchase of property where he was involved in carrying out due diligence, contract negotiations, providing legal opinions, drawing sale agreements, the preparation and registration for the transfer of land.

  • Acted for various corporate entities in Intellectual Property matters where he was involved in registration of trademarks.
