  • She is part of the team which is acting for Cellulant Kenya Limited in its application for an Electronic Retail Payments Service Provider License. The brief entails preparing documentation required to lodge the application at the Central Bank of Kenya and liasing with the CBK to ensure that Cellulant is fully compliant.
  • She was part of the team which acted for the African Development Bank in connection with a Line of credit agreement between AfDB and the Trade and Development Bank (TDB). The brief entailed preparing and reviewing the requisite transaction documentation and conducting due diligence on TDB.
  • She has been involved in advising a number of local and international clients on employment law matters, issuing advice on termination of employment contracts; in particular advising organisations on issues of termination on account of redundancy, unfair termination, employee dismissal and mutual separation. She has also assisted in preparing and reviewing contracts of employment, settlement agreements and mutual separation agreements.
  • She has also been involved in the preparation, review and perfection of immigration documents including the filing and registration.
  • She has participated in various transactions involving due diligence investigations, preparing legal opinions and advised on several areas of corporate-commercial law.
  • She has assisted in the setting up of local branches and subsidiaries in Kenya. These assignments involved advising on the registration of local entities as well as preparing and filing the relevant documents.
  • She has assisted in the registration, renewal and assignment of trademarks locally for IKM’s local and international clients.
